1. What is the Futur Proche?

The futur proche is used to talk about:

  • What you are going to do
  • Plans and intentions
  • The near future

Examples:

  • Je vais manger
  • Nous allons jouer

Meaning:

  • I am going to eat
  • We are going to play

2. Structure of Futur Proche


Basic Rule:

Subject + aller (present) + infinitive


Example:

  • Je vais manger
